Two Passbook Savings Accounts cover the whole family! Adults can open a Passbook Savings Account with a minimum deposit of $75 and keep this minimum balance each day of the month to avoid a $2 minimum balance fee. For Children and Students, a Passbook Savings Account can be opened with a $10 deposit. There are no minimum balance requirements. Interest is compounded quarterly and credited to the account on the last day of the quarter. Automatic transfers on the day you choose make saving a little from each paycheck something you don't have to think about. Christmas Clubbers get a check mailed to them in November - just in time to catch the Holiday Sales!
A Money Market Savings is an excellent choice for those customers who keep $2500 or more in their savings. Opening a Money Market Account allows you to write 3 checks per month and enjoy a better interest rate than that offered with a passbook savings. Interest is compounded monthly and credited to the account on the last day of the month. A minimum balance of $2500 is required to avoid a $10.00 minimum balance fee.
Certificates of Deposit are an excellent, safe way to watch your dollars grow. Here at FSB we offer competitive rates with a low minimum deposit. All of our CD’s can be obtained with a $500 initial investment. You can choose to have the interest compounded to the CD, ensuring faster growth on the initial investment as well as the earnings. You can also receive your interest by check or paid directly to your checking or savings account.
